We believe a thoughtfully designed home doesn’t stop at the back door. After completing the interior design of their home, our clients invited us back to reimagine their backyard into an outdoor retreat that feels every bit as inviting as the spaces inside. We love how seamless it feels walking from the inside out. Modern, natural, with pops of color throughout, here’s a look into our backyard sanctuary design.

To maximize how the space can be used, we created multiple seating areas throughout the patio and yard. From comfortable lounge seating around an oversized coffee table, and lounge area around a firepit, to a large dining table and bar seating, there are so many ways to entertain and live in this spacious backyard!

Our clients love a clean, modern look. We chose pieces that feel simple and right at home in the natural surroundings. Stone surfaces, raw edges, and sculptural accents add texture and interest without overwhelming the space. We kept the key furniture and structural pieces in shades of gray and black, then brought in warmth and personality through accessories. This approach keeps the space feeling fresh and allows them to easily change up the look depending on the season.

And we had to save the best for last…this pool! The best designer is Mother Nature herself and we just love how beautiful the pool looks nestled by the trees.  Can you see yourself lounging here on summer weekends?
